Harris, Walk-In Clinic Moving Offices

March 09, 2018

In an effort to bring all of the Wilbarger General Medical Group healthcare providers closer together in the Doctors Clinic, the Walk-In clinic and Veronika Harris’ family practice clinic are moving from their current locations to the west end of the building.

Starting Monday, March 12, Harris will begin seeing patients in what was Suite 100, which was previous occupied by Dr. Reynaldo Maniago and then Dr. Adanna Amechi-Obigwe.

Walk-In patients will now be seen in both the Family Practice Clinic (Veronika Harris, FNP) as well as the Internal Medicine Clinic in Suite 400 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing an additional 2 hours per day of walk-in coverage.

Additionally, the patients will still be able to utilize the Walk-In Clinic on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. until Noon, in Suite 400.

“Moving those two offices will give patients better access to our providers and to the building,” Claudia Eisenmann, CEO of Wilbarger General Hospital, explained. “Patients who go to the Walk-In Clinic or see Veronika can now use the main door of the Doctors Clinic and will not have to worry about going up steps or pushing a wheelchair up a steep ramp. All of our medical group offices will now be right there close together and close to the front door.”

With the move, the Walk-In Clinic will now be sharing office space with Dr. Travis Lehman and Family Nurse Practitioner Hazel Brantley.

“Dr. Lehman’s and Hazel’s patients will continue to be seen by appointment,” said Brandi Williams, director of clinic operations, for WGH. “By moving Veronika’s office and the Walk-In Clinic closer to our other offices, we’re forming a Primary Care Suite using two office spaces – Suite 100 and Suite 400.”

Moving the Walk-In Clinic and Harris frees up two offices on the east end of the Doctors Clinic. There are currently no plans for those two offices.
